TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS

If we don't reexamine our lifes constantly, we risk finding ourselves in a commitment tangle which conspires against us, stops us from moving, thinking, and ties us in the most terrifying state... losing control over our own lives.
At some point, all of us have experienced the sudden awareness of unexpectedly finding ourselves in a life that is not the life we wanted to live, in which we were not as comfortable as we could be.

After more or less blindly chasing a goal we found out that we lost many valuable things on the way, and maybe one-off oportunities. Even still the possibility of, by finally achieving that unattainable goal, after working very hard for it, the result didn't match or it seemed to be far away from the expectations we had.

Sometimes, we abandon ideas that seemed to us objectively important in exchange for comfort, or because they compromised or threatened our lifestyle and the fake stability it grants us. The worst moment in these cases overcomes when we lose that beacon which weakly lit our reality, and meanwhile, as we hadn't been working on lighting our own glow, we find ourselves terrified and swamped into total darkness.

Conflicts between "Me" and the "Other" have just begun, but it's important for us to hang on to the knowledge of our own roots, the circumstances that led us to our current situation, and our main goals and motivations so we can live a full, happy, and fruitful life.
